Sportswear of Tomorrow makes custom running singlets for running brands. Each singlet is full-colour sublimated on GRS-certified recycled polyester, then cut and sewn in our own factory in Aiud, Romania. Orders start from 1 piece and are ready 2.5–4 weeks after artwork approval. Clubs and race teams can order too, under their own name.
What makes a good custom running singlet?
A race singlet has three jobs: it has to stay light when it’s wet, move with the runner without rubbing, and carry a brand’s artwork cleanly wash after wash. Weight and fabric composition only tell part of that story. How the fabric is knitted and finished matters just as much.
Which fabric do you use for running singlets?
All our fabrics are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified. Running singlets are made in 100% recycled polyester or in a recycled polyester/elastane blend. The blend depends on the cut and on how much stretch you want: a looser training singlet usually needs none, while a close race fit benefits from a little elastane. We confirm the exact fabric for your style in your quote, and you approve it on a physical sample before bulk production.
How is the design printed?
Every singlet is dye-sublimated. The ink turns into a gas and bonds with the polyester fibre, so the print becomes part of the fabric. It doesn’t crack or peel, it adds no weight or stiffness, and there’s no limit on colours. Gradients, photography and all-over patterns cost nothing extra in complexity.
Pantone matching is available on request. Slight colour differences can occur because sublimation ink absorbs into the fabric, so the approved physical sample, not the screen, is the colour reference.
What can you customise?
- Artwork: all-over designs, chest and back logos, sponsor panels, race or collection names
- Colourways from one base design, for seasonal drops or limited editions
- Names or numbers per piece, for athlete editions or team orders
- Your own cut and size grading, developed as a paid product-development step per style
- Your woven labels, hangtags and packaging, which we fit in production. None of our branding goes on the garment.
Can you develop a singlet to our own pattern?
Yes. Send your tech pack or a reference sample, and we develop the pattern, make a sample for you to approve on fit and print, and keep the approved pattern on file for every reorder. How do I order custom running singlets?
- Brief: pick one of our existing cuts, or send your tech pack or reference sample, plus artwork, quantities per size and your launch date.
- Mockup: our designers place your artwork on the production template, and you approve it.
- Sample: new styles and bulk runs get a physical sample to approve first.
- Production: sublimated, cut and sewn in Aiud, ready 2.5–4 weeks after artwork approval.
- Restocks: your pattern and artwork stay on file, so the next drop is made to the same approved spec, from a single size upwards.

From 1 piece on our existing cuts, so you can test a design, shoot a campaign or restock one size without buying a season up front. For a style developed to your own pattern, we confirm the minimum in your quote. Volume discounts apply to larger orders.

How long does production take?

What fabric are your running singlets made from?
GRS-certified recycled fabric: 100% recycled polyester or a recycled polyester/elastane blend, depending on the style and the fit you want.
Will the print crack or fade?
No. The design is dye-sublimated, so the ink bonds with the polyester fibre and becomes part of the fabric. It does not crack or peel.
Can I sell the singlets under my own brand?
Yes. We make private-label running singlets with your artwork and your labels, and none of the garments carry our branding.
Can I get a sample before ordering in bulk?
Yes. New styles and bulk runs get a physical sample to approve first, and on existing cuts you can order a single test piece.
