Yes — you can (and usually should) order a sample before bulk.
Here’s how sampling and pricing typically work for custom cut-and-sew, sublimated sportswear — with rashguards as the worked example, because that’s what brands ask about most.
Sample first (recommended)
- Choose a catalog style or start a new development.
- Send artwork (vectors preferred) and size / fit notes — see our tech pack & artwork checklist.
- We confirm sample price + shipping, produce the sample, and ship with tracking.
- Approve fit, fabric, and print — then we quote volume production.
New construction? A product development package may apply before the first sample (often cited around €400 per style ex VAT for a full development path — packages on our Product Development page start from lower tiers). Catalog styles usually don’t need that fee.

Exact tiers depend on fabric, construction, decoration, and current costs. Use this as a planning guide — we’ll confirm a formal quote.

What a “sample” usually includes
- One garment in the agreed base size
- Agreed fabric and sublimation artwork
- EU shipping option (worldwide available)
- Feedback loop on fit, colour, and construction before bulk
Not usually included unless agreed: full size set, salesman samples (SMS), hangtags/retail packaging, or a brand-new pattern from scratch (that’s development).
MOQ reminder
- Teamwear / on-demand: from 1 piece
- Bulk / collections: typically 50–70 pieces per style (fabric supplier minimums can apply)
Lead times (published ranges)
- Teamwear: about 2.5 weeks from design approval, order, and payment
- Bulk: about 4–6 weeks after components are confirmed
- Sampling / development: often 6–8 weeks depending on complexity
We’ll confirm dates on your quote. If you need a sample for a hard deadline, say so up front.
Private label / white label
Yes — we manufacture for your brand (labels, packaging options where agreed). You’re not ordering a Sportswear of Tomorrow consumer brand; you’re ordering your product from our European factory.
